A 66-year-old man in Black Earth, Wisconsin became so incensed by Bristol Palin’s performance on Dancing with the Stars that he grabbed a shotgun, shot his TV set, and had a stand-off with local police.
Steven N. Cowan kept police at bay for 15 hours after he became angry while watching Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol perform. “The (expletive) politics,” he muttered to his wife, before blasting the TV. After he used the single-shot shotgun to assassinate the television, he reloaded it and pointed it at his wife. She ran for cover and got the police involved.
Palin has caused controversy since she first appeared on the show, because many people think she does not dance as well as her competition, but is being kept around by rigged voting.
